This Cookies Policy sets out the rules for storing and accessing data on the Users’ Devices who use the Website for the purpose of providing services via electronic means by the Website Administrator. 

§ 1 Definitions

  • Website - website available at www.fakro.co.nz
  • External website - websites of the Administrator’s partners, service provides or service recipients.
  • Administrator - the Company FAKRO sp. z o.o, operating at the following address: ul. Węgierska 144 a, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, Poland, providing services via electronic means through the Website and storing and accessing information on the User’s Device.
  • User - natural person for whom the Administrator provides services via electronic means through the Website. 
  • Device - electronic device with software by means of which the User gains access to the Website.
  • Cookies - text data collected in the form of files placed on the User’s Device.

 

§ 2 Types of Cookies

  • FUNCTIONAL - necessary for the functioning of the webpage. Necessary cookies are usually used in response to actions taken by the User such as setting privacy options, completing forms or remembering any choices made on webpages. It is possible to change the browser settings to block them, but then the webpage will not function properly.  
  • STATISTICAL - they allow us to measure the number of visits and collect information on website traffic, thanks to which we can improve the performance of our website. They also help us find out which webpages are the most popular or how visitors navigate through our website.  If the User blocks this type of cookies we will not be able to collect information on the use of the website and to monitor its performance.
  • MARKETING - used to adjust the content and form of advertisements displayed both on our webpages and on our partners’ advertising networks.

  • Storage and read mechanisms - mechanisms of storing and reading Cookies do not allow to collet any personal data or confidential information from the User’s Device. Transferring viruses, Trojans and other worms to the User’s Device is practically impossible.
  • Internal Cookies - internal Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device.
  • External Cookies - the Administrator is not responsible for the security of Cookies from the Website’s partners. The list of partners can be found further in the Cookies Policy.

  • Improving and facilitating access to the Website - The Administrator can store in Cookies information on the User’s preferences and settings concerning the Website in order to improve, enhance and accelerate the provision of services within the Website.
